J9, Libby’s Pride and Nanola wines are among the women-owned brands to treat your palate at the Local Wine Expo.

One of Proudly SA's core offerings to member companies is access to market opportunities. A business's success relies on having access to a market that consumes or buys its products and services. Local wine brands dominating the retail space will preserve the value chain, help keep, and create jobs that the South African society desperately needs.

Backsberg Family Wines, a winery with a rich heritage spanning over a century, remains steadfast in its philosophy of providing world class wines while prioritizing sustainable practices. As South Africa's first certified carbon-neutral winery since 2006, Backsberg prides itself in constantly extending the utmost care for its employees, products, land, and the broader community.

JOURNEY’S END VINEYARDS X INTERPUNKT LAUNCH WINE RANGE IN SUSTAINABLE PAPERBOARD BOTTLES

A FIRST IN SOUTH AFRICA

Journey’s End Vineyards, the award-winning boutique estate situated on the mountain slopes above Sir Lowry’s Pass Village in the Helderberg basin, and new wine brand Interpunkt, founded by Andrew Ingham, have teamed up to launch a pioneering range of wines in sustainable paperboard bottes – the first in South Africa.

Cozy up to winter with an indulgent twist on two time honoured South African classics, Roodeberg red wine and the treasured malva pudding.

Roodeberg Reserve, a bolder rendition of the original Classic Red Blend, is a silky smooth winter comforter for wine lovers looking for a more full-bodied red. A fairly recent newcomer, the wine is an intense, richly layered blend of the finest barrels in the cellar. The 2019 vintage is meticulously crafted from predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon supported by Shiraz, Malbec and just a dash of Petit Verdot and Durif (Petite Sirah).

Hartenberg Family Vineyards, South Africa’s pioneers of regenerative viticulture, has once again wowed judges and delivered on the international Shiraz/Syrah stage with both The Stork Shiraz 2019 and Gravel Hill Syrah 2019. Not only did The Stork Shiraz 2019 win a gold medal at the 17th edition of Syrah du Monde, but it was also named among the top 10 wines overall.
