BROOKDALE’S 2021 MASON ROAD SYRAH VOTED TIM ATKIN’S ‘BEST VALUE RED OF THE YEAR’
Brookdale’s Mason Road wines commanded attention in Tim Atkin’s South Africa Special Report this year, when the 2021 Mason Road Syrah walked away with a Medal of Excellence as the 2022 Best Value Red of the Year.
Shiraz SA revealed the winners of the 10th annual Shiraz SA Challenge on Wednesday 17 August 2022 in Paarl. In honour of the competition's tenth anniversary, a brand-new trophy and a sizeable cash prize have been announced.
Celebrities from the wine industry and finalists gathered for this year's glitzy awards ceremony at Santé Wellness Retreat & Spa. The master of ceremonies was well-known radio and television personality Tracey Lange, and guests were entertained by renowned musician Schalk Joubert. Recent appointments have seen women taking up key positions at the award-winning wine estate.
