A cool growing season in the vineyards on Stellenboschโ€™s Helderberg, home of Alto Estate, resulted in immense concentration in the grapes harvested for the making of Altoโ€™s Estate Blend from the 2022 vintage. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Shiraz (30%) and Cabernet Franc (10%), the Alto Estate Blend harnesses the three grape varieties for which Alto has become known since vineyards were first planted here over 100 years ago.

Hartenberg Family Vineyards, South Africaโ€™s pioneers of regenerative viticulture, has once again wowed judges and delivered on the international Shiraz/Syrah stage with both The Stork Shiraz 2019 and Gravel Hill Syrah 2019. Not only did The Stork Shiraz 2019 win a gold medal at the 17th edition of Syrah du Monde, but it was also named among the top 10 wines overall.

Edelspatz, the icon Noble Late Harvest Riesling from Simonsberg wine estate Delheim, reaffirmed its status as one of South Africa's leading Noble Late offerings by securing a five-star rating in the 2023 Platter's Wine Guide, the country's leading guide to ratings of Cape wines.

The top five-star rating was for Delheim's Edelspatz Riesling 2020, made from a Riesling vineyard block situated on the estate's Simonsberg terroir planted in 1985 that has been officially endorsed with Certified Heritage Vineyard status.
