Contrary to popular belief, Valentine’s Day is not just for Bae

We’ve all been there, thought it was love at first sight instead it turned out to be another dry encounter. Does this mean we have to give up on love completely? Absolutely not.

The media has led us to believe that Valentine’s day is all about being boo’d up. To some extent it is. My theory is simple, if you can’t love the one you’re with, why not love wine instead?

Let me tell you a secret, I love Valentine’s Day. Some may say it’s a money making gimmick, others that “everyday should be Valentine’s Day”. Let’s get real shall we? Realistically we can’t celebrate the day of love daily but sometimes we do need a little reminder to spoil our loved ones.

Valentine’s day isn’t just for couples, it’s for everyone.

Listen up guys, Valentine’s day is the perfect opportunity to spoil the First Lady (mom and wife), your sister, your best girlfriend, your office Oprah. Ladies obviously this doesn’t exclude you, spoil your old man, you partner or your brother(s).

It doesn’t have to end there but I hope you get the idea. We are humans who wish to be appreciated. There’s no better feeling than knowing you are loved and appreciated.

I’ve listed 14 wines that will make the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day. Click on image should you wish to purchase any of these wines
