Family, bread and wine are synonymous with @lamott Family, bread and wine are synonymous with @lamottewine , so when the opportunity presented itself to join Ricardo the baker in the kitchen, the answer was obviously yes.

The morning started with a freshly brewed SOMM coffee from Spens Farm Pantry, followed by our introduction to the team. Ricardo wasted no time and handed us the most delicious croissant, perfectly shaped like a half moon, so buttery it simply melts in your mouth. I enjoyed mine with a comforting cup of Wupperthal rooibos tea.
We were quickly whisked into the kitchen, where the real magic happens, as you can see. After kneading, shaping and baking, we were naturally parched and in need of refreshment 🥂which came in the form of a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, enjoyed while listening to the soothing sounds of the mill.

Personally, I could spend hours at the La Motte Bakery. It’s one of those spaces that feels like home. Where good 🥖 , good wine 🍷 and good company come together effortlessly.
Some gatherings leave you with more than beautiful Some gatherings leave you with more than beautiful photos they leave you with a feeling.

This Mother’s Day, @ublomflowers created a space where flowers, food and connection came together effortlessly. Mothers, daughters and grandmothers gathered around one table, sharing stories, laughter and the joy of creating something beautiful by hand.

With a glass of @musgravespirits Gin in hand and fresh blooms in front of us, the afternoon felt slow in the best possible way intentional, authentic and filled with warmth.

What made the experience special was how every detail reflected @musgraveshoppingcentre . Nothing was overdone. Just thoughtful touches, genuine hospitality and the kind of atmosphere that makes people linger a little longer.

The high tea by Elsa van der Nest brought it all together beautifully. The cucumber sandwiches and tomato & feta quiche were simple highlights👌🏾 familiar flavours elevated with care.

A reminder that some of the best experiences happen around a table where stories are shared, generations connect and beautiful memories are made.

Tasting Under the Stars hosted by @durbanvillewine at @durbanvillehills , the evening unfolded with sparkling Sauvignon Blanc, five thoughtfully paired wines, and a glimpse into the sunset.

Think smoked salmon, duck tacos, mushroom arancini, slow-roasted lamb, and a sweet finale all beautifully paired.

Wine tastes even better when the stars slowly take their place above the vineyards. Thank you for a great evening.

From endless mimosas and relaxing massages to bouq From endless mimosas and relaxing massages to bouquet making, scent making and a little creative fun with personalised keychains, the @houseofbng Mimosa Retreat at @laparisestate made every moment intentional and indulgent. Beautiful food, beautiful energy, beautiful people and a table setting that looked like it was straight out of the Regency era.

And when DJ Pinky jumped on the 1s and 2s the vibe shifted all the way up, dropping the hottest beats while we chilled in the valley soaking up the sunshine.

The opulent vision brought to life by the incomparable founder Bonang Matheba continues to show us what modern African luxury looks like.

Thank you @houseofbng for such a beautifully curated experience in the valley.

Yesterday was so much more than imagined.
Queen B gave the girlies exactly what was needed.

✨ Last night I had the honour of experiencing Th ✨ Last night I had the honour of experiencing The Nedbank Alchemy, and let me tell you, this one touched the soul.

The limited-edition Alchemy Wine took centre stage, telling a story of collaboration, creativity and true craftsmanship. Each course, each conversation, each detail brought the essence of The Nedbank Alchemy to life.

What stood out most was,
✨ The people.
✨ The passion.
✨ The purpose in every pour.

Events like these remind me why I love telling the stories behind South African wine.
It’s when craft, culture and connection come together, magic happens. 🍷💚
