The Muratie Flavours of Winter Festival invites you to make the most of the Cape winter and head out to Stellenbosch for a mellow fireside celebration of Cape “Port” and Fortified style wines. The Muratie Farm Kitchen will be serving a delicious array of traditional & rustic meals suited to the wintertime. Come and cosy up in one of the Cape’s oldest wineries with a glass, live music and some warm treats, appreciating the rich and luscious offerings from some of the Cape’s top “Port” producers. You will be warmly hosted by the winemakers from Muratie, Allesverloren, Axe Hill, Delaire Graff, Boplaas, The Fledge and Peter Bayly.

Simonsig Wine Estate has ushered in a new area for Chenin Blanc with the unveiling of The Langbult Steen Chenin Blanc 2022 – their first wine to gain Old Vine status.

This award-winning barrel-fermented Chenin Blanc, formerly known as Simonsig Chenin Avec Chêne, is a single vineyard Chenin Blanc that has been renamed and given a refreshed look to commemorate this historic milestone in the wine’s evolution.

Kleine Zalze, the award-winning Stellenbosch wine estate that is among others renowned for its selection of premium Cap Classique sparkling wines, has released its first range of Cap Classiques in the burgeoning Nectar category. The selection of off-dry sparkling wines comprise the Kleine Zalze Cape Nectar Blanc and a blush-hued Cape Nectar Rosé, two non-vintage products whose complexity and multi-layered flavour profiles result from using the traditional classic Cap Classique cultivars of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne in Franschhoek is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of the Shiraz & Charcuterie Festival after a three-year hiatus. Scheduled for Saturday, 27 May (11 am to 4 pm), the event promises to be a social calendar highlight, bringing together some of the country’s finest Shiraz wines paired with Charcuterie from Artisanal Producers.
