At @spierwinefarm @jillianhillza & I savored the limited edition Soup & Wine Pairing, a celebration of seasonal comfort and fine craftsmanship. From white bean & truffle to pumpkin velouté, each bowl was perfectly paired with Spier’s wines.

The standout pairing for me had to be the Creative Block 5 , think layered, complex and utterly delicious. The wine reflects the winemakers artistry and chefs balance with the flavours which beautifully ties the experience together..

II was recently gifted this beautifully curated case by @vinimarkwine South Africa’s largest independent wine distributor. Each of the six wines in the box comes from one of over 60 incredible brands that Vinimark represents… so this was not just a delivery , it’s a journey.

Some nights are made for discovery, and this one delivered in style. The newly opened Mussel Monger & Dashi at Riverlands Mall is a seafood and sip lover’s dream.

We toasted the evening with vibrant cocktails served with flair and admired a wine list that reads like a love letter to wine lovers from Cap Classique, Chenin, and even Luddite on the pour.

The vibe? Effortlessly elegant ✨.
The setting? Chic and social 💫
The experience? Clocked 🤏🏾

This isn’t just a stop, it’s a destination.🥂🦪

🫧✨ An elegant afternoon spent sipping through @dewetshofwines prominent Chardonnay lineup at the exquisite @marble_capetown Restaurant where flavour meets finesse, and each pour tells the story of its site.

We started with their crisp Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique, a refreshing prelude to a taste in terroir. From the vibrant Limestone Hill to the elegant Bon Vallon and into the textured depth of The Site. Somehow il still mesmerised by each sip of the powerful Bateleur, I really enjoyed this selection as each wine unveiled a layer of De Wetshof’s winemaking philosophy.

“The thought behind today’s tasting is really showcasing site-specific wines. It’s our way of really trying to understand our sites.” — Johan De Wet
