Celebrating an excellent vintage and the 25th anniversary of Le Riche’s legendary flagship

 The 3rd of June 2024 is a very special day for the Le Riche family – Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon specialists for 28 years – as they release the 25th vintage of their esteemed flagship Le Riche Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as three Single Vineyard Cabernet bottlings from an exceptional vintage.

Think you have it all figured out when it comes to wine tasting? Nederburg’s The Manor restaurant and wine tasting hub in Paarl has teamed up with Freedom Coffee to offer wine and coffee lovers a slightly unusual tasting experience.

The Brew Tasting comprises a selection of Nederburg’s delicious white and red wines, as well as some top-notch single origin and blended coffees by Freedom Coffee, and edibles like dried mango, prunes, grapes, white chocolate with nuts and raspberries, dark chocolate and fatty biltong.

Beautiful Cabernet vines usher you to the wine-tasting area of this boutique winery situated on the foothill of the Simonsberg Mountains. In 2008 the Du Toit brothers Stephen and Retief developed a boutique vineyard on Le Present; making the “Deux Frères Wines” dream a reality. Le Present nestles on the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains in the Stellenbosch Winelands District.

Greeted by a kaleidoscope of colours and memories of harvest 2018, the “The De Meye Estate” is a remarkable family-owned boutique winery, situated in the lush Mulservlei area. [caption id="attachment_17016" align="aligncenter" width="768"] Entrance at De Meye Wines[/caption]   This unique little spot has been the home and farming ground to the Myburgh family for five generations. In the earlier years the family used to farm with cattle as the area was popular for cattle farms. The estate is named after the De Meye river in Holland, the birthplace of the first Myburgh, who came to farm in South Africa in 1665.
