At De Krans Wines, port- style wines are part of our heritage. It was inevitable really, with our climate and our soil, that we would gravitate towards Portuguese grape varieties. It is how we came to be who we are today – one of the most awarded and respected port-style wine and Portuguese dry wine producers in South Africa. Above all, we love port-style wines.
We are still daydreaming about endless, lazy summer days on the beach and pretty and delicious sundowners. Even though we may be back in office and swimming in emails instead of the cool blue waters, we can still celebrate summer in style and with some prettiness, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner. The De Krans Pinotage Rosé is not only one of De Krans’ fastest growing wines, but also definitely one of our most delicious.
As one of South Africa’s leading port producers, De Krans Wines’commitment to producing quality products has yet again been acknowledged by the South African Wine & Cellar Classifications, which saw De Krans being recognized as one of the Top 10 Cape Port producers over the past 10 years (2012 – 2021).
